More information on the Supporting Student Mental Health ConferenceResilience Impact offers online trainings and live conferences that are designed to give you actionable and practical strategies of how your school can become more trauma-informed.
Sometimes attending large conferences can feel a little like playing the lottery with the sessions you choose. You pour over the brochures and research the presenters hoping to chose a session that will be engaging and practical. Despite my best efforts, I often end up in sessions with doctoral students presenting their research or in sessions where the actual content didn’t match the description at all. While there is clearly some awesome content to be found at these type of conferences, it all too often requires a lot of effort, and a bit of luck, to find.
Our events are designed to be different!
We have designed each session to be full of engaging content and provide practical applications of the material. All of our sessions are presented by experienced educators and administrators that understand the challenges and rewards of doing this work.
Teachers, coaches, mental health providers, special education staff, department heads, building leaders, district administrators–anyone setting a vision and implementing a system level approach to building trauma-informed schools.
Since this work is best done in teams, we encourage you to bring a team from your school or district to spearhead this work.
